Climate Change is Real and Can't be Ignored

As island communities, we need to ensure that we meet our obligations and commitment to the Paris Climate Agreement.  It is vital that we perform a current greenhouse gas inventory, manage our greenhouse gas reduction plan and continue forward in creating a climate action plan that capitalizes on our resiliency and envisions implementation of reductions in order to achieve our goal of a fossil-free future.  Additionally, we need to strategize for where we move our infrastructure and how it relates to our general and community plans.

I support continued funding for the city Office of Climate Change, Sustainability and Resiliency.  Thursday, September 27, 2018, from 530-730pm at Aliamanu School Cafeteria will be the first of nine Climate Action Plan Public Meeting in this series being held in council districts across Oahu.  Additional meetings will be scheduled in the near future.  Stay up to date on the Office of Climate Change, Sustainability and Resiliency schedule of events by:
