We submitted our petition for a hand recount to the Office of Elections twice. They did not respond to either request.

Ballots will be mailed March 21. The election is April 13. Ballots may be taken to Honolulu Hale during normal business hours (except Sunday) April 1 - 12 and until 6 p.m. Saturday, April 13.

Mahalo Nui Loa for Your Support!

Mahalo nui loa from the bottom of my heart to all of my supporters, friends, and family.  From long days in the hot sun canvassing, to getting rained on while signwaving, you stuck with me, and every vote cast for me truly belongs to all of you. I couldn't have come this far without your support. 

Mahalo to all of you, who put your faith in me with your vote.  I am so humbled by the strong support knowing that our message of effective leadership with aloha is resounding in our community.  I look forward to earning those votes still yet to be cast and commit to honoring the responsibility that comes with it.

There's a long road ahead of us on the path to November, but with hard work and determination, we will build on this momentum.  Onward to the General Election and mahalo again for your support!

Voting by Mail Has Begun

Ballots have arrived at homes throughout the district, and I have been so appreciative of the many notes and calls of support. From keiki to kupuna, we need Leadership with Aloha and a Councilmember that will actively represent our community while keeping open lines of communication. Every voice deserves to be heard and every vote really does count. My family and I wanted to take a moment before the week begins and humbly ask for your vote. Mahalo for your consideration!

Deadline to register online or by mail for the Primary Election is July 12, 2018.

Election Day Registration: If you missed the application deadline, you can still register and vote at an Early Walk In Voting location on Election Day at your assigned polling place (determined by your residence address). You will be asked to complete a registration affidavit and provide physical identification. The following are acceptable forms of ID:

  • Hawaii Driver License
  • Hawaii State ID
  • Military ID
  • Passport
  • Current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or other government issued document showing name and address.
